How to Find Us

Above all else, the kids we are with are our first priority, and often we are busy with a class or out in the field or on the water, so you may stop by and find we've hung a sign on the door, "Gone Fishing." We do not yet have a full-time, dedicated office staff, so sometimes we may not be right on hand to greet you.  The good news is you can always leave us a voicemail (978-463-2233), send us an email (explore@merrohawke.org), slip a note in the mail slot, flag us down on the water, or rest awhile on our deck... we're sure to return soon enough.

In case of emergency, call Kate's cell: 978-888-7815.

Our main office is located at 54R Merrimac St., Newburyport, right on the waterfront. If you are looking at the front door of the Black Cow Tap and Grill, we are just to the left. Look for the big building with an ocean mural on the side.

Four Rock, our field site in Newbury is at 82 Boston Road, just about three miles south of Newburyport when headed down Route 1. These 30 private acres are just east of the Newbury Transfer Station.

To access the Plum Island boat programs, head towards Plum Island's northern point, at 10 82nd St. Head to the small white building to the left of the old Coast Guard building.
